I shall introduce myself properly when about to purchase my first RCZ.
For the moment I have something a bit tricky to sell.

Per-lease! Don't get me started on what I should have kept and maintained and "WHAT IT WOULD BE WORTH NOW!!"

How about a pristine (ex Ford Europe HQ Warley Barracks) 1965 MkI Lotus Cortina, for starters? :(
Blue-printed and ticked over at 550rpm, shaking seductively sideways on Cinturatos.

Last count, 33 motors owned, all shapes and sizes, so a flippin' barn and loads-a-dosh would have been needed to keep them all.

Most of the cars I've had would probably be worth @ £25 now

But I did have a Mk1 Escort Sport that was tuned by my cousin who was a WRC mechanic for a top driver of the time. Sadly they are all no longer with us (driver- mechanic- or car). Might have got a few quid for that now :eusa-think:

Bloody hell!! I don't think the RCZ could manage 660k! Your lucky if you get to 66k without any major problems! That's progress for you. :eusa-think:

Mine was a brand new Austin Maestro 1.3L in red, reg A209GJA in August 1983. At that time, the brand new reg was always on 1st August and the A prefix was a brand new format.

At that time I had total faith in car review magazines, I was only 22! The Maestro was supposedly the best in class, maybe it actually was. I replaced it with a brand new 1.6L Montego a year later and that felt a lot faster, lol.

According to the DVLA, the Maestro lived for 12 years, not bad going really.

My first ever company car was a Fiat 128 Cl special. When it was on the road it flew, sadly, that wasn’t that often. I drove more courtesy cars than I did that Fiat, (thankfully), and the door bottoms went rusty after @ 6 months.

They don’t make them like they used to ;)

The only company car I've ever had was a Peugeot Partner van! lol.

There is a slight theme here. :eusa-think:

Well, I have had a plethora of company motors (being my own company), some more exotic than others, but the star was a tiny Renault 5 van - the lease cost peanuts, it was used for all manner of loads by family and friends; and flogged it at the end for a good price. It was also one of the first around with a car phone, before the mobile became an essential tool and way of life, so was my first experience of "an office anywhere".
