Not a Peugeot anymore, after god knows how many years. I now drive a 2013 Toyota GT86, called Steven. It done gone sideways.

Former owner of Dolphin Blue GT200 fully loaded inc. Quads / Xenons.
Now on second white* R
currently sporting an Avery Roaring Thunder Gloss flip colour wrap.

Yes dead battery buy the best one you can not worth buying a budget lump as you have found out these cars need top power!

I'd try and avoid jumping.
I've never jump started any of my Peugeots. I just wouldn't dare.
According to the previous owner of mine they jumped it one day and the sat nav stopped working.
I opened it up, to try and fix it and it was burned inside. Two sockets and one cable.

Glad you got it sorted and it was an easy fix and at least it's covered for five years.
