Now, I'm not one to (intentionally) emit a negative aura, although at times the missus does get bombarded with my health woes.
One of my very insignificant problems, but not insignificant in the context of this forum, is what to do with my RCZ.
It looks spiffing, now that my Pug man has tarted it up and I've stuck a few stickers on.
Thing is, it looks "cool" (chilling, even), all black, so not anticipating a Plecer's type of excessive adornment.
Anyway, a black cat is, er, black; no stripes, spots or other intrusive colours.

When I look at the options for body enhancement, most will fall foul of the ground clearance problems, that I have both on the track to the main road and on the public highway and in towns.
Track has rocks sticking up, highway has rumble strips and undulations and change of surface sometimes not level, and the towns and villages have loads of calming (makes me and motorcyclists anything but calm; seethe, actually) humps all over the place.
The Zero had ten cms clearance, but maybe a smidgen less under the seats, amidships; so graunching (harmless but alarming) sounds of seatrunner mounting bolts being "reduced" at any of the above!
So , don't think the splitters, skirts and diffusers would last long in pristine condition, on the RCZ. :(

Externally: I like the existing wheels, black pack and quads.
Internally: the upholstery is lovely, the sat nav and sound system, if I got my head round it, is more than adequate.
What to do?
If anything!! :sleeping-yellow:

So, back to ground clearance - I have scoured t'internet and searched here for info on adjustable ride height, and of course there are coil overs that can be wound up or down (had them on the Zero) but apart from some off roaders (e.g. son-in-law's Disco) it is a set up job and not a dash board control.
Guess it would be expensive, but think of the body trim that could be used if at a speed bump, you just twist a knob (pardon missus!) and up you go to clear it.
Bet some of those good 'ol boys in Calif doing custom jobs could do it.
Is it do-able this side of the pond, I wonder. :eusa-think:

Change the suspension to air bag suspension.

Just an idea, someone on the continent has done this but can't remember if on here or Facebook group.

I was looking at that after reading the op’s post. Your looking at @ £750 for the controllers, £850 fitting & then there’s the actual suspension.
I think you would only find out how it had affected the handling after throwing your money into the large hole.

It would look pretty cool though. :eusa-think:

If I conclude it is desirable, then I would hunt down a workshop that specialises in them and get a quote.
As much as I admire my local Pug team, I'm not keen on being a guinea pig.

This car was at this years french car show on the show and shine stand.
Looks very cool when suspension drops or rises but not sure what the ride is like?

That would certainly look the biz; I'd settle for a bit higher, with skirts and splitter body mouldings a few cms off the deck.
But as I said, my main concern is to lift the car instantly when confronted with the plethora of underbody scraping obstructions here in Spain.
It is blatantly obvious that peeps are graunching, because all these awful raised humps have marks and gouges from other low motors.
The Zero was a crazy exception with ten cms or less clearance, so got snagged on most, even at walking pace!
Initial findings on air suspension seem to point at an expenditure of maybe three grand euros, which gritting my teeth I could go with.
The reviews (mostly Yank) give a thumbs up on comfort and handling, but they may be used to swimmy hulks!

The air suspension is a magic carpet ride, bumps and holes are not felt as the suspension compensates independently on each wheel.

There was an experimental suspension that uses magnets.

It automatically senses obstructions and in the video i saw it made the car jump off the road over the block of wood without crashing down, the driver commented that he had not felt a thing, even flying through the air.

Thanks for that; I am now drooling!!

The Bose / Clearmotion system looks incredible.
I would get great satisfaction driving a Z (or any car for that matter) fitted with this through some towns close to here where there are evil speed bumps that everybody hates, no matter the vehicle they are driving.
