Sadly, the film on my drivers door light has disintegrated & it's now just an odd shaped blob on the ground. :eusa-think:

:( I had one other report of this and it seemed to be due to moisture and heat.

I have these on my Z, far better than the ordinary door lights, but sadly three years on and they too suffer from the heat....

What we need is someone to re-instate the order for some more of the R and the RCZ ones, but his time take cash first before making the batch run, otherwise some say yeah I'll have one, then they don't when the order is completed...

Any takers Steve?

I'd buy an RCZ set and be happy to give payment up front if that's what it took

Well my maths says that's three !!

What about you DKZ do you fancy anymore? Neil need any? Nemi?

When I enquired to a chinese company they wanted a minimum of 100 and they wanted about £17 a set !

Now I'm not saying this is the price - it's just the first I got quoted and we're a far shout from 100 !! Lol

Maybe ask the Euro Meet lot, that was 102 on it's own!!

If someone else wants to take up the challenge then by all means do so, but it is just that a challenge to find the right place at the right price and a good quality to (the previous I had made were okay but over time the film deteriorated and I am not wanting that to happen again, hence why it is taking so long to get more made, other than the fact the place that made the last ones is no longer around). 100 is a good minimum as it was not this when I first looked into this. But I am still looking.

It's the logo that's the issue, not the lights themselves...

I would be interested in this type again as the passenger one has started to blurr.

I'd also be interested in the R version without the outline circle (sorry no pictures of this one yet).ImageImage

The blurring is known to happen, even for me I had a set do that over time. This is where I am challenging the manufacturer to provide ones that will last a long time, but so far this is just that a challenge. The design was without the circle but then it came with the circle without knowing, I was not happy about that.

The search continues.

Can you not get a projection lamp and housing where you can interchange the picture, the you can move the housing from car to car and re order an image to suit or put another image in if it get damaged?

What is needed is to have the logos printed on glass this time rather than acetate as they won't fade or blur over time then. However, they are less than 10mm in diameter so it's not a simple task working with precision within such a size.

I have tried the glass in the projectors used in the past, but it is too thick and does not work. Glass will only work in projectors that that are installed after drilling a hole in the bottom of the door. Glass is also more expensive to have made.
