I didn't use the wool pad but did use the 6"+ foam pad, doing about 1500 - 2000 rpm.
Friday was a warm day so the car was already warm and in bright sunlight, all recipes for disaster but it had to be done for the meeting.
Providing I take care and the car stays scratch free it's not a process that I would be repeating anytime in the future.
