Thieving bandits

Postby Figo » Fri Dec 16, 2011 7:46 am

Owning two pugs with two identical looking fobs is confusing at the best of times.

This confusion has ended up with my wallet being pinced from my RCZ ad a lesson in leaving stuff about learned.

Looks like my mum managed to open my boot and doors last night wen trying to open her car. And stupidly I must of dropped my wallet in the car earlier in the day.

Came out this morning to a raided car and said wallet gone.

So cards are cancelled but in there was also my drivers licence. What is procedure with that?

Rather glad I don't carry money in their tho! And no credit card.

You mum not notice she unlocked yours? The RCZ lights up like blackpool illuminations when you unlock it!!

Think you've been lucky though :)

That's one flaw with the Pug - it's obvious when it's unlocked when you look at the wing mirrors - my 207 was the same :(

No major issue, you just have to get a replacement - gonna cost you £20 bucks though

Your mum must have pressed the boot release button, if she had unlocked the doors the car would have relocked itself automatically after about 30 seconds or so if the doors hadn't been opened, it can't do this if it is the boot that has been popped.

Sorry news Figo m8 .
You can apply obnline for a new licence, its fairly straight forward

I thought my boot was playing up again this morning, i went over to the car and the boot was open, as in physically popped open and the doors were unlocked, i knew i had locked it last night :eusa-think:

Turns out that Mrs H had done what Marcus has said, she had pressed the "boot lid unlock" by mistake this morning and walked to work because it was a bit icy, leaving the car boot open and all the doors unlocked sitting on the drive. :o
Ah bless her she has a lot on her mind, living with me :eusa-whistle:

Never mind eh, the fresh air will do her good. 8-)
