Cheaper than the one that I have on order. But like RCZ1 I prefer to see a shine. So it's not one for me.
RCZ is the only car to make the Audi TT appear dated, and is officially the sexiest car on the road.

On what are those numbers based?
UK: 40
Netherlands: 25
Belgium: 50 (and Belgium is a Diesel-country)

Strange decisions those numbers.

its nice,,, i first was a bit 'upset' that they changed the color to grey.. but it seems that its on of those things that fits you more and more every time you see it....

but,,, its not that special that i would wait much longer for,,or that i would pay 10K more for

although it is really special to have °250 of 500 on the side oh well...

is there anything special about the paint if you need to fix it? scratches of whatever??

PRESS RELEASE & PICTURES:

Peugeot is opening the book for orders of a limited edition RCZ ‘Asphalt’, characterised by its special matt Telluric grey bodywork. Only 75 right-hand-drive Asphalt LEs are being produced for the UK and all feature a bespoke high level specification over the top-of-the-range GT trim and powered by the accomplished 200bhp THP petrol engine.

Distinctive features for this most desirable RCZ include the exclusive Matt exterior Telluric grey paintwork with black roof, ‘Asphalt’ badging, 19” Solstice black alloy wheels, complemented with matching black brake callipers. The interior is equally striking with bespoke ‘Asphalt’ branded and stitched Nappa leather trim, an Alcantara / leather steering wheel and gear stick, with bespoke ‘Asphalt’ sill covers and floor mats.

Additional standard specification includes front and rear parking aid, auto lighting (with approach and follow me home modes), Peugeot Connect Media Navigation and a top-of-the-range JBL sound system.

The RCZ Asphalt is priced at £29,995 and the first orders taken will secure the only 75 RHD cars available.

I saw the RCZ Asphalt in the flesh at Peugeots HQ today. It is a lot lighter than the pictures above. I would describe it as a light silver grey. Looks okay, but I prefer shiny gloss paint finishes.

it being very, very unique the asphalt has one over every other rcz and only 40 being sold in the uk makes it a very very rare sight on uk roads,i also like the leather interior it looks of a higher quality than the standard leather, and do love grey cars but i dont have £30,000 :( or i might be just tempted and would have the best of the best rcz on this forum ;) :-)

Can't wait to see what you think of the colour and paintwork. It looks really good in the flesh, but I know matt paintwork is an absolute swine to keep in good nick.

It's a lot lighter shade of grey than the original press releases indicated and I think these RCZ's will really stand out. Mind you, they are going to be pretty rare.

I've already had a play with one, probably the one you saw at pinley house it's very light silver more like a matt mercury grey and I loved the leather

there's no alcantara steering wheel on the asphalt...don't know why, but that's the fact.
I've seen one of the first asphalt sold in Italy and it comes with a regular 200hp steering wheel

I do like the look of it and as others have said it would be great to be in a very select group that can say they own one, but hey ho, I am more than happy with the one that I get TOMORROW, Yipeee.

I can't see how you could have an alcantara (suede) steering wheel? it would surely just flatten out and go shiny with a bit of wear? as for the matt colour I have seen a couple of M3's and it looks absolutely stunning, but I would not want to have to maintain it...

Hi do you know if both of these parts would fit a 207 model and at the same cost?

Thanks

Hi,

No sorry, these parts are listed specifically for RCZ and are not listed for 207 anywhere. Therefore we would not advise the use of these items on 207.

Regards,

Richard.

Hi Richard - thanks for the reply.

...definately? As I've heard from one pug tehcnician and my local dealer (just now) that it shouldn't be a problem? Although the part code listed doesn't mention anything about alcantara - only lists as a RCZ accessory steering wheel, maybe because its so new?

Thanks again
