section at around 1800hrs so it was dark as well as raining. Normally through traffic remains in the outer lane and all those exiting at the numerous slip roads remain on the inside. As was the case this evening. I was travelling at just below 70mph at a safe distance from the car in front who was following a convoy of cars all doing the same. When black BMW man flew past me on the inside and immediately pulled out in front of me. I backed off and watch him attempt to repeat the manoeuvre numerous times to no avail. So after approx 14miles and the last of the slip roads had been passed I returned to the nearside lane. The next junction was a large traffic light controlled round-about. So there was me and the BMW side by side. With two set of lights and a round-about to negotiate. The other side of the round-about the outside lane merges to become single carriageway for the next ten miles. So lights turn green he roars off as I pull away, he slams on as 2nd set remains on red as I gently but firmly apply pressure to my right foot. Lights now green, throttle now being made good use off leave BMW man as if he was stationary
Anyone who thinks that a diesel engined car has no poke clearly has not heard of an RCZ
